Thanks, Tiger; do you know if this is the show that the Blasters did a song about Boll Weevil Blues or some such? I recall listening to this one (was living in TX, it was broadcast; the Dead didn't do all that well, but the Blasters blew me away, especially that song, that I have been searching for ever since).

Hey guy--much appreciated; I have looked for 20 yrs, and search on it regularly, but can't seem to find it...other than to know they did do a song, perhaps a traditional, perhaps called "Boll Weevil Blues" and I loved it...I, sadly, was an old fart with kids at home at the time, but it was broadcast, and they were hot (Blasters). I made a tape, but eventually it gave out and I lost that song.

Thanks,

WT

William, are you looking for a video (DVD) copy of the Blasters playing Farm Aid doing Boo Weevil? I had this on computer and can burn.

Hey Shake--so kind of you to respond. Thanks for your offer, but I was really hoping to find that a commercial release of the song/show was available. IE, not a video but music CD.

Really appreciate you digging this up!

We need more like you in the present day forum; what with all the nonsense going on there...

shn/flac is a torrent site, first get a bit torrent client.i use utorrent.after you download your prefer client go to portforward.com and have your ports forward so you and other user can connect to each other.go back to shn/flac and download the torrent and save it to a area in your computer like my music.depending on how many seeders are on the torrent will equal how fast the download takes plus your isp download speed.try to upload more than you download to keep a good share ratio, sometimes you can't but try.after the download is finish remove the show from your torrent client and convert your shn/flac files to wave or video for dvd format,i use traders little helper for shn/flac conversion to wave and nero software for video stuff.

I dont understand how that trader helper works. How in the heck do you use it. Or how do you convert it is the better question. In dummy english please because I am really struggling with traders helper.

i have the show i downloaded in a file,i then open traders little helper[both of these items are on my desktop]with traders little helper open i simply drag the folder to the open window and drop it,then hit decode files and it starts to decode to wave, after all the files are decoded i close t.l.h. and when you open your folder you'll see all the wave files along with the data files.move your wave files to your burning software and burn away.
